A.D Sutton Motor Engineers LTD began when Adam & Emma rented a small workshop in July 2007 on Wisbech Road in March.  Adam had left his post as a trainer at the VW academy in Nottingham and wanted to do something different, away from the “nonsense of big business”. Initially, Adam worked as a “one man band” and Emma carried out the admin and accounts duties on her days off and in the evenings. Within days though Adam was inundated and over-run with work. Fortunately his older Brother Wayne’s work schedule allowed him to come and help with carrying out services and basic repairs whilst Adam dealt with customers and concentrated on complex jobs. Word got around quickly due to the transparency, quality and value for money of what they had set out to do and Adam and Wayne were often busy late into the night.
